Sessle

Sessle is a singer, songwriter from Dallas Texas. Born to parents who both had vocal abilities, who and the grandson of Dr. John Bradley, a musician out of Georgia who’s known for having his students selected to be in the blockbuster film “Drum Line.” Music was something Sessle grew up around, it runs through his veins. His mother, Trinita, grew up singing in Houston, Texas alongside Gospel singer Yolanda Adams. Her musical tastes definitely rubbed off onto him, as she listened to and sang multiple genres of music at home. From Shakira, Selena, Toni Braxton, Celine Dion, Joe, Craig David, Tim McGraw, Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, & Marc Anthony, they were the prime examples of how diverse and Musically inclined Sessle has grown to be. At the tender age of 4, his mother discovered his vocal abilities after hearing him sing along to TLC’s “Creep” & Selena’s “Si Una Vez”, his mother got him to join his elementary school choir, and he continued to sing in selected choirs around Dallas, Texas all until graduating high school holding the title as choir Vice President. Classically trained to read music from a young age, his gift continued to grow as he went onto college and won a talent showcase for the chance to open up for Grammy award-winning R&B group Jagged Edge in 2012. He also auditioned for the very first season of the X factor USA in 2011, in which he made it to the second round of auditions before meeting the on-stage judges. During his time in college, Sessle would sing live music at local restaurants to continue to practice singing in front of crowds which led him to win 1st place at his College talent show in 2014. 2 years later, Sessle moved to New York City to pursue his career, but with his mindset on modeling instead of singing.  After being discovered that he could sing at SoHo House by one of his colleagues, he then joined Upstaged Entertainment. In November of 2018 Sessle performed at the Barclays Center (Billboard Lounge) for an independent artist festival In 2019 he released his first official single titled “Breakfast” which has been received well throughout social media and caught the attention of RCA records. He is currently independent and his EP which is set to release in 2019.
