Bio

What do dumdum suckers and the etch-a-sketch have in common? They both have regretfully surrendered their title as the most unique thing to come out of Bryan, Ohio to small town boy turned Nashville transplant, Seth Abram.

After discovering at the age of 16 that playing the guitar came more naturally than just about anything else, his shockingly expansive vocal range shortly followed. Seth began playing in churches, coffee shops, and fairs which, rather unintentionally, built a grassroots following that fueled his desire to pursue music. For over a decade Seth has been developing his craft of songwriting and performing to bring collaborations of genres that haven't seen each other in quite some time.

Seth has had the incredible privilege of sharing the stage with Brandon Heath, Jason Castro, JJ Heller, Shawn McDonald, Everyday Sunday, Lincoln Brewster, City Harmonic, Sidewalk Prophets, and many more.

In 2011, Seth's loyal supporters came together and helped him successfully complete an $11,000 Kickstarter campaign, funding Seth's debut album. 'Seth Abram' was recorded in just ten days with producer Zach McNees (www.zachmcnees.com), and in April of 2011 it reached number nine on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts and created a following that demanded more.

Shortly after the release of his first album, Seth and his wife moved to Nashville to make a home in music city. The beautiful and eclectic mix of talent in Tennessee inspired sophomore project, 'Hold On,' released in February 2013, mixing a little bit of Motown, a little bit of pop, and a lot of soul. Headed by up and coming producer and bass player, Matthew Melton (www.meltonemusic.virb.com), 'Hold On' was self-funded and recorded in various home studios with some of Nashville's finest, making it a true representation of independent music today.

Today Seth remains an independent artist, playing shows across the US and soon to be overseas. His third release is currently in the works, and is already showing us that the best truly is yet to come.
