Set In Color

Set In Color is a five-piece power pop band from Long Island, New York. With hopes of winning over the hearts of a new crowd every night, the guys are anxious to get on the road and build their fan base across the country. The members of SIC come from diverse musical backgrounds but together create an exciting sonic blend of fresh alternative pop that resonates among music lovers everywhere. The band's latest self-titled EP (featuring standout tracks like "Photographs”) combines Matt Villani's bright melodies with effervescent synths to create an album teeming with ultra-catchy gems. Matt Villani (Lead vocals), ex-guitarist and songwriter of Stereo Skyline, pours his heart into every lyric and is able to connect with the audience through shared experiences. Trey Ewald (Guitar/Backing Vocals) works alongside Matt to create striking vocal harmonies and lead guitar riffs that deliver every time. Anthony Purpura (Guitar), another former member of Stereo Skyline, is a multi-instrumentalist with years of experience who always provides the right groove for every performance. Chris Capuano (Drums) brings pulsating beats to the table and provides a steady backbone that seems to naturally stray away from the "copy and paste" touch of many drummers in today’s pop music world. SIC is a young, confident group of musicians that are dedicated to their craft and show no sign of slowing down. To date, the band has generated over 600,000+ MySpace views and averages over 2,000 daily plays. A new album is slated for pre-production in the fall of 2009.
