Setting Sunrise

Defying the common post-course of many lead singers from former bands, Joey Biagas of Setting Sunrise decided to start off his music career as a solo artist first. Hailing from the City of Angels, Joey relied on his DIY attitude to self-produce, record, release 4 EPs and gain a nation-wide fanbase. This alternative/pop rock multi-instrumentalist played Warped Tour 2013 and also has shared the stage with Never Shout Never, John Nolan (Taking Back Sunday), The Scene Aesthetic, Vinnie Caruana (The Movie Life / I am Avalanche), He is We, etc.

Other than putting on great shows in person, Joey Biagas is very tech savvy. Using the internet to his advantage, Setting Sunrise had a weekly featured video-chat show on the front page of Stickam.com and was actively personal with his "twitter chats" to connect with thousands of fans without ever leaving his bedroom.

Due to the alias and full-band sound of melodic guitar riffs, counter filling bass lines, and driving drums that all compliment the lyrically vocal driven songs, Setting Sunrise is often misinterpreted as a multi-membered project. Joey Biagas usually jams out on stage with his buddies as a live backing band, but his versatility allows him to be able to break down and perform solo shows with just a mic and an acoustic guitar.

This up and coming artist continues to evolve as Setting Sunrise tops each new release. Joey Biagas' hard work and determination will continuously put him into higher success without a ceiling to hold him down.
