Seven 13 are a US based band who mix together prog rock with melodic rock. 'Out Of Control' is a totally superb piece of melodic rock. A very powerful song with gentle keys from Amanda Adams. What I like about the band's sound is that it is often quite elegant, check out the piano parts which are beautiful, the band has a simialr vibe to Harem Scarem's 'Blue' and is just completely stunning and also reminds me of Robbie Valentine., beautiful, operatic pure genius.
Showing more similarites to Robbie Valentine is the excellent. There is literally so much talent pouring through this band that it sickens me as why they remain unsigned. Momemts of this album even lean toward the same progressive style as Spock's Beard, and it's Amanda's totally enthralling piano work that inspires this album. Overall this is nothing short of brilliance, a very pure thought provoking album and a band to watch out for in the future. check them out @ www.seven13band.com

Seven 13 - Unleashed - I couldn't imagine this album doing justice to the band's live shows where the theatrical performance and nature comes through, but the CD does show the various influences that take the music beyond traditional rock to another, different level. Throughout the time we spend in this world, distinct people are joined together to form unexplainable alliances. We are SEVEN 13; a Progressive Rock Band based out of Boston, Massachusetts. Our music is profound in it's sensuality and challenging in it's honesty.
SEVEN 13 began it's formation in the summer of 1997, hailing from the historical cities of Massachusetts. Amanda Adams eagerly sought an ideal outlet for the numerous compositions she was compiling throughout her life.
Amanda worked with several talented musicians through the years and with the addition of Lead Vocalist Court Linehan, Bassist Brian Verrochi, Lead Guitarist Michael Burke, and Drummer Greg Ogan, the music of SEVEN 13 has developed into a solid determining force. It wasn't long before they were ready to share what they had created with the public.
Since SEVEN 13's beginning in 1997, the band has toured throughout several cities of the country and their music has been featured on several compilation CD's, books, and programs. All of the band members attribute their success to the quality of music that they perform.
