Severd1 was formed as a heavy metal studio project by Scott Winkelmann(guitar and vocals) in 2007. North Adams ma.is where it started With Bob Donnelly on bass and Tom houghtaling on drums. when the studio project was finished the members of the project went their separate ways .
Currently Scott and Matt Bates (bass guitar) are keeping SEVERD1 alive in their own studio under Scotts new label Winkster records. The guys are busy writing and recording music for their new album. Soon to be armed with a new arsenal of tunes Severd1 will hit the local music scene with some new blood in its veins. Pounding out songs of insanity, anger and twisted realilty. Severd1's new album will surely capture and hold the attention of hardcore metal and mainstream fans alike.
The next chapter in severd1 is full of hardship .Scott is alone once more ,writing ,recording and searching for new members . Let’s see what happens.
