Severed Hand is based out of central New Jersey, an area that is teeming with as many bands er square mile as you will find anywhere in the country - exactly the make-it or break-it climate a great band needs to compete in. Severed Hand began as a group of high school friends with a vision of shaping the future of msic. Since its formation in late 1999, Severed hand has shared the stage with such acts as the Naked Beggars, Seven Witches, and Sebastian Bach. Through the years, the band has carefully molded their sound, adding new elements to finally becom the powerful brand of heavy metal the are today. Tight, harmonious guitar work, bone shattering bass, and quick pounding drums, beautifully meshed with silky smooth but soul-piercing vocals define Severed Hand.
