The five members of Severed Ties, a new Metal band from St. Louis, Missouri, create their individual sound with melodic vocals, aggressive shouts, many mosh-parts and catchy guitar-riffs. Tony and Skyler , the core of the band, created Severed Ties to follow their own way of writing music, which is influenced by many famous bands like Killswitch Engage, Unearth, As I Lay Dying, Emery, In Flames, Alexisonfire, Haste the Day, and Bullet For My Valentine. They found other members in Jake, Brennan, and Corey who have brought new creative ides along with them. The band just released their seven track EP "Into Darkness".
