Sever The Skies

Sever The Skies formed in the spring of 2005 as A 5-piece metalcore band hailing from Springfield, Mass. Made up of 5 different personalities, StS's writing process can be at times difficult, but no matter the idea, one common goal always exists.....to write music that THEY like. With everything already being or having been done in the music world, StS isn't TRYING to be original or different - they are just trying to be THEMSELVES. Many influences litter the music ranging from older style metal/hardcore to the new styles of today. Most importantly, their live show is full of energy and this band is just trying to have fun, playing and making music that they love.
With Jason (formerly of Calyx in Ruin and EDGAR) laying down a solid heavy groove foundation along with Gabe (formerly of Born In Blood) on bass, Todd (formerly of Born In Blood) and Pawel (formerly of Silence) are laying down heavy but melodic guitar work, and Denny (formerly of Born in Blood and 637) brings it all together with his brutal, visceral vocals, the end result is something to be experienced.
