"Someone You Should Know"

After recently moving to Atlanta, the current music capital, Se'von is continuing his path as one of hip hop's rising stars. A veteran performer, he has already shared the stage with hip hop greats such as Clipse, Pharrell, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Nappy Roots, and Nas.

Once hearing the lyricism on songs such as "Maria" and "Gave it all Up", his talent is undeniable. His songs are easily related to real life scenarios and are quickly making way to the ears and mouths of fans nationwide. It is obvious big things are to come in the future of this songwriter/recording artist. He is definitely Someone You Should Know! - www.plsmag.com 9/1/07 issue

Bio

Son of a soldier, Se’von moved around much of his childhood settling in Detroit and the ghetto suburb of Mt. Clemens, MI. Dodging dealers, boosters, and thugs, Se’von managed to run in the streets without allowing them to determine who he would become. In a single parent home, the temptations of the hood began to get the best of him; needing somewhere to turn… he turned to music.

At the 2004 Rapvibe Summit in Chicago, Se’von wowed an audience of artists and industry A&R’s, producers and promoters; a showcase that catapulted his name into the mouths and ears of some of the most well-known industry heads in the game. Later, Se’von was nominated “Best Male Artist” for the 2006 Detroit Hip Hop Music Awards. Moving to Atlanta in the early part of 2007, Se'von has begun to expand his fanbase into the south.

Bringing a true feeling back to hip hop music, Se’von encompasses the thoughts, feelings, struggles and ideals of people of many backgrounds. He has sold over 10,500 units with virtually no promotion besides word of mouth. As a measuring stick, Se’von welcomes the challenge of sharing the stage with multi-platinum acts. To date, he has shared the stage with many artists including: Nappy Roots, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Lloyd Banks, Trick Trick and more.

With a veteran stage presence, Se’von’s performance is that of a multi-platinum artist - no matter if it’s for 30 or 30, 000 he leaves the audience looking on the shelves of their favorite music stores for his face. Sure to be the next superstar, his arrival into mainstream is already highly anticipated.
