Biography

Sevval was born in Istanbul on 11 November 1973. She studied at Hasan Ali Yücel Elementary School and then ISOV Yapi Vocational High School. She graduated from Marmara University, the Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Department. The artist, who is also the daughter of Leman Sam, catches attention with her simple lifestyle and she does not like being in front of the cameras apart from her career. Sevval Sam has a son.

. Sen Olmak (Short Film) 2007: A woman stuck at home because she is disabled and a man hitting the roads with her wife's wheelchair to understand her. The movie, "Sen Olmak", by Tayfur Aydin was awarded 'the best movie' in 7th National Short Film Festival which is organized for the seventh time this year with the theme, "the disabled".
