SHACHAH (pronounced sha-KAH) - The name comes from the Hebrew word for worship. A verb meaning to bow down, to prostrate oneself, to crouch before God in worship. This definition keeps in focus the essence, ministry, and vision of the band Shachah.
Shachah has been a full time independent band for three years and has gathered a huge fan base mostly in Southern California and stretching all the way to Florida. They have had the opportunity to perform internationally with trips to Russia, Peru and Germany.
They were the GMA Music In The Rockies first place overall band winner in 2005 and placed third in Urban/Hip-Hop songwriting with their single "I Will Not Die Today."
In 2006 they performed over 130 shows/events around the country and internationally. They have also performed with Superchick, Seventh Day Slumber, Shonlock, Benjamin, and Phil Wickham.
Shachah's musical versatility is showcased in the Audio section with three songs from their live show in Russia and three songs from their popular Worship CD "To The One".
