2001 Spring Fest
New Jersey City University
Robert T. Bell - 04/12/2001
"The Shack Daddies were even better than at the APCA conference in Charlotte.
I was glad that they were able to be part of my concert line-up.
Celebrations - Montgomery, AL. - -The Shack Daddies
The group performs a wide variety of cover and original material which
has been termed an "unstoppable" performance. Musicianship and
stage show go hand in hand with this incredibly entertaining band. The
group puts on a show that is always polished musically, but more
importantly, it's truly exciting to watch.
Supper Club - Auburn, AL-The Shack Daddies
Truly exciting to watch, I haven't seen a group with two front men entertain
and play off each other and to the crowd the way these guys do.
Definitely, a professional and performance oriented group.
The Marquee - Biloxi, MS
One of the best upcoming bands, in the gulf south area.
They combine good rock with melodic harmonies.
Northwestern University - Student Activities Board
The Shack Daddies performance for our Spring Fest was awesome.
We really enjoyed the original music. The way Andy and Jared get
the crowd involved is remarkable.
Sloppy Joe's - Key West, FL
From the first time the Shack Daddies performed, we knew
they would be a great draw for us. Their stage presence is
tremendous, and they always talk with our patrons. Seldom
do we draw a local crowd with bands, but with The Shack Daddies
they come out.
Indiewave.net
One of five featured bands on the front page for January 2003.

Shack Daddies Bio
"The Shack Daddies" were created in the year 2000 by an act of God.
Well, sort of...
Actually," The Shack Daddies" were formed in May 2000 by current members from all
over the country. The group performs a wide variety of original material, which has been termed
an "unstoppable" performance. Musicianship and stage show go hand in hand with this
incredibly entertaining band. The group puts on a show that is always polished musically, but more
importantly, it's truly exciting to watch.
The group tours with two front men. It's a fact that you can't help but notice in the live show.
The Shack Daddies consists of:
Lead singers Andrew Wells and Jared Smith. With their tasteful vocal harmonies and with both
performers working the crowds night after night, the energy level of the stage show never drops
for a second. Lead guitarist Charles Labouisse adds the flavor of his hometown, New Orleans,
on his axe. He also lends a great third part harmony to complete the band's astounding vocal section.
On bass guitar, Chris Broussard has become one of the "hottest" 4-string players in the south; while,
at the same time, setting that low-end groove that is so important to The Shack Daddies sound.
Finally, Jeremy Miller completes the group with his amazing drumming abilities. By providing a solid beat
and impeccable timing, Jeremy is the icing on the cake for the group.
Aside from being incredibly entertaining on stage, The Shack Daddies are composed of professional musicians
with years of experience. Their original music is incredible. Described as a mix of hard rock guitar, beautifully
blended vocal harmonies, and a solid rhythmic beat, The Shack Daddies are hard-hitting yet soulfully melodic.
The Shack Daddies have been invited to open for acts such as Stoke 9, Blessed Union of Souls, Entourage,
and Naughty by Nature, Better Than Ezra, Dishwalla, and American Hi-Fi showing their diversity in musical ability
and talent
