Bio
In late 2004, Sherry Wengrow (Vocals) and Matthew Shad (Instruments & Vocals) came together with a musical vision to blend their collective influences. The result is a melodic pop sound full of refreshing musicianship, soaring harmonies, and songs you remember the following day.
Sherry began taking voice lessons in New York when she was thirteen years old. She honed her skills in clubs and showcases all while graduating form Hofstra University. She has become a vocalist who effortlessly brings out the beauty and energy of a song.
Matthew began playing piano at seven and guitar at fourteen. He attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music where he studied guitar, production, and songwriting. His studio skills have brought him from the Berklee Studios in Boston, to Full Sail in Orlando, and Crescent Moon Studios in Miami.
Shad was recently featured in the Sun-Sentinel newspaper on June 19th. The front-page expose titled Pursing A Dream chronicled the bands journey thus far.
This summer, Shad will be playing live in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area, recording their debut CD, and showcasing to labels at various festivals.
