Here we have an artist with a attitude of complete optimism and joy despite any negative situation, and a down home comfort to her, who is carry this ridiculous amount of talent! That’s Sha Davis! Sha was raised in a small town called Roxie, MS that has no more than 1000 residents on any given day or occasion. Her love for music, according to her family, always been present, but manifested itself when she was 5 years old when Sha saw the legendary talent display show, Apollo that set the wheels in motion. Sha began to sing in church and school choirs. Throughout her adolescent years she participated in school and local theatre musicals, operatic choirs, show choirs, receiving private dance lessons, choreographing for dance teams and anything else to get her close to her dream. After high school Sha went to a private liberal arts university where she received a full musical scholarship, shortly after enrolling life changed dramatically for her and gave her the opportunity to serve in the United States Air Force. Shortly after her enlistment she moved to Alabama and began writing. This gained the attention of American Idol winner Ruben Studdard’s music manager Alvin Garrett. Sha then traveled to Birmingham to record and write for Rubens and Alvin's record label there. After doing that for several months, Sha began to tour with A capella gospel group “Committed”. The tour experience set off bells for her that set her in motion to pursue the solo career that she always dreamed of.
