Shade of Sunburst à vu le jour à Saint-Sébastien en 2007 par la rencontre de Martin D'Avignon, dOlivier Blanchette et de Charles St-Laurent.
Après deux ans de jams assidus et la composition de douze pièces originales, Un nouveau membre pris sa place au sein de la formation sous la forme d'un Bassiste et back-vocalist: Olivier Langlois. Un an plus tard, en 2010, la chanteuse et membre final du... groupe, Geneviève Sauvé, se joint au band.
Ayant fermement maitrisé leurs compositions, le band se tourna vers les performances live tout en se préparant à l'enregistrement de leur démo. De sérieux perfectionnement à léquipement du groupe allongeant le processus, S. O. S. à finit son démo en automne 2012.
Le band participe maintenant à des évènements live.
Formed in 2007 from the chance meeting of Martin DAvignon, Olivier Blanchette and Charles St-Laurent, Shade Of Sunburst began in Saint-Sébastien.
After two years of assiduous jamming and the composition of twelve original songs, a new member joined the formation: Olivier Langlois, the bassist and back-vocalist. One year later, in 2010, the final member of the group was found: lead vocalist Geneviève Sauvé.
After fully mastering their setup, the band oriented toward live performances while preparing for the recording of their demo. Serious upgrades in the equipment lengthening the process, the band finished recording their demo in the fall of 2012.
The band is now participating in live events.
