Wow the boys from Oklahoma have done it! A polished gem of a CD. Deep, rich melodies and honest heartfelt lyrics. Uniquely refreshing. No pretense, just rock. This album is really fantastic, and does a good job at capturing their amazing live show. If you havent had a chance to catch them live, then I suggest you make a point to do so. They are doing what they love, and are making their way around the country doing the rock thing the old fashioned way. Cant wait for a full length! - Rick

The members of Shade Seven cite influences ranging from The Smashing Pumpkins and Brandtson to The Appleseed Cast and Jimmy Eat World. They take all of their own personal tastes and influences and mold them all into what comes out as a refreshing blast of emo-pop. Lyrically, the band writes on personal experiences of life, love, regret and hope. Musically, the band finds the feelings and emotions behind the words and brings them out loud and clear. They have a definite love for playing live shows and sharing what they have to offer. It all comes down to this - Shade Seven is four guys doing what they love.
Shade Seven is from the Oklahoma City, OK area and has been around since the end of the year 2000. And, as with most bands, they have been through a few lineup changes along the way. Fingers are crossed that this is the final formula. Shade Seven has done numerous small tours and is planning on taking over the country very soon.
