Alex Hutchison was inspired to play bass after a Cream concert in 1967. He recorded in Rio de Janeiro in 1996. In 2002 Alex recorded a CD with David Haney and Adam Dillar atJack Straw Studio’s called “Late Notes From Seattle.” It was broadcast live on KEXP FM radio and on the internet.   Jay’s influences include: Larry Carlton, Django Reinhart, Jimi Hendrix, and Miles Davis. For the last 10 years Jay played guitar in Regina with a band called The Project. They played instrumental jazz for corporate background gigs, including one for the premier and one for the Lieutenant Governor. He also played with The Ministry Of Groove. This was an 8 piece jazz/funk band with a 4 piece rhythm section and 4 horns.

Having lived in in a myriad of places over the past decade, Aisha was glad to arrive in Calgary in the summer of 2014. Music has always been a part of her life, whether in the form of musical theatre, open mics or singing in a choir. Performing with Shadoplay is a wonderful, new experience for her. Singing brings her happiness and she hopes that Shadoplay's music does the same for you. Besides singing, Aisha writes songs, lyrics, plays acoustic guitar and percussion. There are shades of Billy Holiday and Nora Jones in her vocals.

Paul plays drums in a variety of styles for bands in Calgary. He also has a background in music production.
