Formed in Toronto in late 2004, shadowdrift drowns the senses in cool melodies, dynamic hooks, and groove-laden rhythms. The melodic and rhythmic awareness at the heart of shadowdrift’s immense sound fuels an insatiable sonic overload that moves seamlessly from intense heaviness to emotional acoustic intensity.
With strong roots in the hard rock / new rock scene, Craig Burnatowski(vocals), Pete Morra(guitars), Tom Evans (bass) and Tom Paulovits (drums) bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the song-writing process, overlaying rumbling riffs and organic rhythms with memorable vocal melodies, creating true invigorating dynamic through a musical fabric of layers. With a variety of killer projects under their respective belts—Adrenithyn, Chronic Overboogie, Push, Plaid Soul, The Meltdown, and Unherd to name a few—shadowdrift benefits immensely from years of song-writing, performance and industry experience.
