Bio

Les Richardson was born and raised on a ranch in White Salmon, Washington. A small community about one hour east of Portland, Oregon. His first Fender Telecaster guitar was given to him at age 6 by his late grandfather, Calvin Richardson. At the young age of 10 Les decided to give up his dirt bike and follow his true calling of music. And by age 12 he was already playing local festivals, talent shows, weddings, school functions, and fundraisers. Also, playing gigs like singing the national anthem for the Portland Trailblazers, singing in bars, rodeos and fairs all around the pacific northwest, even bought his own tour bus. At age 17 Les was nominated in three categories in his age division (17-20) at the CMA’s in Las Vegas and won two, “Songwriter of the Year” & “Entertainer of the Year ”. Then it was time to take his talent, along with his million-dollar voice to the next level and move to Nashville. Since moving to Nashville he has appeared on such shows as Star Search and Nashville Star, and has performed at the Ryman Auditorium and on the Grand Ol’ Opry stage at least 3 or 4 times. Les has also shared the stage with such performers as Big and Rich, Dierks Bentley, 3 Doors Down, John Rich, Montgomery Gentry, the late Chris Ledoux, Jason Aldean, Steve Holy, Ty Herndon, Clay Walker, Brian McComas, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more. When Les isn’t out of town playing at such venues like Whiskey River in Macon, GA, he is working on writing the next hit song and playing with his band at the famous Wildhorse Saloon and Jack Daniels Saloon in the Opryland Hotel.
