Shadows Sanctuary has an 80's hard rock/power metal feel that is influenced by many of the metal legends such as Iron Maiden, Queensryche and Judas Priest. Our sound has a unique vocal style much like Jeff Tate of Queensryche, melodic guitar riffs and solos that will make you think of Satriani and Maiden at the same time, and a rhythm section consisting of an in the pocket bass style with Neil Pert influenced drumming. This sums up our truly unique sound that sets us apart from the New England music scene.
Other band influences include: Metal Church, Fates Warning, helloween, Black Sabbath, Rush, Grim Reaper, King Diamond and many more.

Think back to a time ,when you heard YOUR first HEAVY METAL band or bands that had such an impact ,on the way YOU feel,the way that the YOU chose to LOOK/DRESS/AND VIEW THE WORLD AROUND YOU!,that one particular sound THAT WILL HELP YOU THROUGH LIFE/DEATH LOSS/LOVE/PAIN and ANGER! that will give you the STRENGTH /COURAGE when at times, it seems that NO ONE UNDER STANDS!
