Shaglo is known for their high energy originals, blending rock, funk, jazz, folk, bluegrass, and more. Their eclectic covers of surprising classics, some you thought you forgot or never knew you loved.

Band members have played in various projects throughout the Southeast over the past years. In October 08, they formed Shaglo capturing their
eclectic and diverse background.

David Kyle, guitarist and vocalist - DK has traveled the States playing both percussion and strings. He has remained dedicated to the Jam scene since his earliest projects where he has been found and favored in and out of the studio. His talent, presence, and ability to interact with any crowd have made him a favorite wherever he plays.

Wil Kinsey, bassist - Wil grew up playing tuba, trombone, baritone, and spinning records, as well as running live and studio sound. He has played extensively in several projects such as Foxy Iguanas, Usual Suspects, Jason Justice's Hung Jury, Smokey Otis Band, and more that has kept him quite busy.

Douglas McElvy, Keyboards and vocals - Jazz pianist, processional-funk-clavichordist, drummer and more, is known as a good funky rhythm that goes along way behind the fresh sound of Shaglo. Douglas and David have been playing together for years from Montana to Montgomery. He has headlined Camp Reggae with The Ahead Band All-stars, was a touring member of the band King Kotton while playing with the experimental jazz group, Glove Box Heat and played with other projects, such as Uri, Shrapnel Pedals, and Huckleberry Sound. Duggy, as he's well known, Is what you can't put your finger on and a controlling factor at the live shows.

Tom Risher, Jr.-
Tom comes from a musical family that has encouraged his playing from a young age. Tom has been a mix of various styles and projects before finding home with shaglo,all the while promoting local music in and around Muscle Sholes throughout the southeast.
