Shaharah The charming Jamaican delight brings her R&B influence & soulful gospel choir voice to the front of the stage. Shining her sound of infectious melodies of an entertainer & expressive songwriter. Her strong stage presence is one that brings demand & attention from captivated audiences.
Shaharahs new focus of returning into the spotlight is one of an emotionally charged songwriter who reflects the world around her. As a solo gospel talent releasing Shaharahs upcoming solo album in spring 2008 will be an inspirational event.
My inspiration has been the gospel voice of my father.
And with that inspiration, her earlier ventures were that of being a member of a gospel choir that saw her travel North America performing with Yolanda Adams & Hezekiah Walker.
Beginning her commercial musical career with R&B trio JAI, known for their hit single "Checkin Me Out". JAI brought Shaharah into the spotlight performing with artists such as Musiq Soul Child, Desiree & a performance on Much Musics Electric Circus.
Shaharah's solo album is set for release in spring of 2008
