Shake has been in the Kansas City music scene for a couple years now, and has been making itÂ’s mark. The group formed three years ago, and has since grown to prove to many that they are here to stay. The line-up of the band has changed a bit over the years, with the addition of two new guitar players recently to strengthen the sound. Playing to audiences in the KC area and touring regionally, the band is all about connecting with the audience at each show and playing without a net.
Shake can site many influences and is determined to develop their own original music, while keeping crowds on their toes covering their favorite bands. The music is a mix of jazz, funk, blues and rock; with strong vocal harmonies and the chance for pure improvisational moments that leave audiences applauding for more.
