Bio
Three kids from Texas who were in three separate loud punk/garage bands. They got together one night to lay on the floor and listen to records. They were each amazed how great Electric Light Orchestra's "Time (1981)" album was. Knowing that they didn't have the means to make a record like that, they wondered how a record like that would sound if they did. They grabbed a four track and started writing songs about time travel and falling in love. After discussing what to call this "project" they decided on Shake the Ghost. A term a family member used to describe addictions and more importantly lost loves. "A ghost they just couldn't shake." Shake the Ghost put their sound to the test quickly and started playing surprisingly successful shows that incorporated liquid lights and backdrops that called to mind early Pink Floyd. Shake the Ghost now has turned into a fully functioning-living- breathing- band. The three kids are going to stick with each other for a long time.
