"CD Review"

"Shaley can write catchy tunes - music that will most likely make her famous with it's radio friendly appeal..." - Dusty Ray - Scene Magazine

"Los Angeles Radio Station"

'Shaley Scott, finalist in Los Angeles Radio Station, STAR 98.7's "Be a Star" contest...with Ryan Seacrest. Guest Judge, Donny Osmond, was quoted as saying, "You are a star!" His review of her live performance of Dead or Alive.' - STAR 98.7 KYSR

"Feature Article"

“To start off this new series, we caught up with Shaley Scott. She plays solo and in the Shaley Scott Band and is an extremely talented singer/songwriter that kills on the piano. Her blend of pop and soul sets her apart from the many rock bands of FoCo, which is one of the reasons why she’s been signed to Sugarfox Records. Currently ranked #1 on the local Reverbnation chart, she’s not only very skilled, but super sweet.”
ALLISON LECAIN - Entertaining Fort Collins - Allison Lecain--Entertaining Fort Collins

"Live Show Review"

“Her current band, is a well-honed group of completely different individuals doing their own thing.... and the result is perfection. Playing gigs at a variety of venues around Northern Colorado, The Shaley Scott Band is a high-energy, charismatic performance.”
CiCi Sharstrom - Scene Magazine - Cici Sharstrom--Scene Magazine

"Live Performance Review"

"... It became clear during the performance that we have been deprived of a very talented local artist. The show was full of laughable (in a good way) audience interaction...The entire band complemented the environmental mood well, with the sort of passive focus on creating the music you expect when the spot light is more or less shining on a single person the entire night. It was great show and if you were there I hope you enjoyed them.”
Mike - Hyphytek.Net - Mike--Hyphytek.net

"Spencer and the City..."

"Trying to relax by my pool the other evening, my neighbor Rebecca came by and somehow (it is sooo difficult) convinced me to go out for a drink and some live music.

We popped into The Mint and caught the live music of Shaley Scott (myspace.com/shaleyscott). Great time and really amazing performance!"

"EP Review"

"...The sound is built upon an acoustic indie rock that mirrors the styles of artists such as Damien Rice and Glen Hasnard. “Style,” however, differentiates itself from the rest of the EP with an up-tempo beat and an extremely catchy melody that may find itself in one of the high-spirited Target commercials."
Charlie Anderson - Scene Magazine - Charlie Anderson--Scene Magazine

"Hitchhiker DVD 2007 Review"

HITCHIKER theasylum's
(theasylum.cc)

Starring Jeff Denton (interviewed),

Shaley Scott( soon to be interviewed).

Leigh Scott ( writer & director) brings us his version of the someone who you need to pass by and not stop for.
This movie was scary and suspenseful. That said , It has some ugly moments with sheer violence and sending the wrong message towards female abuse.
Denton plays the bad guy and has major problems with women, Jeff has played flaming genteels(Pirates Of Treasure Island) and good guys( Beast of Bray Road),This time NOT NICE !We have labeled Denton with JAMES DEAN look, This film is something DEAN may have tried if time and car error had been kinder.

Shaley Scott , Is known for her singing and this film proves she can act too. We felt she was really given a opportunity to shine and that is very rare for your first effort on screen with lines. She is also featured on the box art, Which again is quite a kudo. - Amazon.com

Just recently signed to Sugarfox Records...
Shaley, grew up in the town of Fort Collins, Colorado. She started performing at the age of five and as a trained dancer and self-taught musician, entered the Colorado Academy of the Arts, where she would train every day after school. In her spare time, Shaley started writing songs on the piano, and landed a spot on a local cable channel, where they started featuring her original music at only 14 years old. "I think that was the moment I knew what I was supposed to do. It all seemed so magical to me. It was like a light switch had clicked on and from that day forward, my singing and song writing became my first priority."
She later received a music scholarship to Colorado State University, and entered college as a music major. “...But, when I finally got to college, it was as if there was a voice inside me, telling me I needed to be somewhere else," says Shaley. So, she packed up her car, and moved to Los Angeles.
During her time in LA, she went on to win radio contests, collaborated with multiple artists, toured California and Vegas, and got placements in TV and movie projects. She got back to her theater and acting roots, and starred in multiple full length feature films. One of her notable achievements was the leading role in the horror/thriller “The Hitchhiker”, in which she also scored an original song in the soundtrack.
As of late, Shaley has teamed up with Anthony Lavin of the British band “The Filthy Souls” to form “Welcome To Winter”. They were recently nominated for the "Hollywood Music In Media Awards" for two of their original songs right after their first EP was produced. They continue to work together, as a side project--and enjoy writing and producing together, in their home studios. Shaley now spends her time in both Colorado and Los Angeles, and is working on a new album with Sugarfox Records & The Shaley Scott Band. She's also recording a children's CD, and writing an original musical, among other things.
The recording has begun....Stay tuned!
