SHALO LEE OFFICIAL BIOGRAPY:

Known for her eclectic styles and incredibly powerful range and velocity, Shalo Lee has and currently does it all; a fusion of country, rock and blues rolled into one girl.

Shalo Lee, originally from rural River Falls, WI has been singing with gusto since her older sister taught her to sing at 18 months. She continued to sing, act and play flute though high school, winning repeated state honors for vocal performance, as well as sweeping top awards local talent shows and winning the crown of Miss River Falls 1997-1998.

While pursuing her undergrad at UW Stout, she was a frequent soloist in the select Vocal Jazz ensemble for 2 years.

In 2001 she regularly sang on the Mickey Gilley stage in Branson, MO, performing with acclaimed country singer/song writer Jim Owen doing Patsy Cline Cameos and backups.

After a near fatal car accident in 2002 in Tampa, FL, she moved home to recover, but continued to sing, winning the 2003 Colgate Country Showdown at the regional level in La Crosse, WI. She has since fronted several country, rock and blues bands, sharing the stage with the likes of Hal Ketchum, the Marshall Tucker Band, Pure Prairie League, and Ambrosia.

Her latest projects include writing, recording and performing her first solo album with critically acclaimed Ken Valdez as well as performing with her two bands: The Irresistibles with Cate Fierro and the Legendary Mick Sterling as well as her own group Shalo Lee and the Sugar Daddies; including MMA lifetime achievement award winner Dave Rodriguez, Jimmy Rodriguez on Drums and Mark Johnson on bass from the Corey Stevens Band.

Though Shalo is new to the national music scene, she is achieving greatness both on the stage performing with her groups and her songwriting abilities; apparent on her upcoming album.

The world will not be able to deny the honesty, beauty and raw talent that is Shalo Lee.
