Shamiren Carroll

Shamiren Carroll was born in Sydney Australia on January 20, 1977 into a creative team with a lot of soul. Her passion for music and creative writing lead her to songwriting, as did the purchase of her first guitar in 1995.

After two years of travelling, writing and learning to love & play music in Canada and the UK, Sham returned to Australia with a repetoire of songs revealing a maturity gained from her experiences overseas.

In 2000 the 23 year old became a professional singer songwriter and began playing live shows in Sydney, Sham also appeared on Channel 31 community television and recorded her first demo during this time.

Since living on the South and North Coast of NSW, Sham has developed a backlog of new material and reworked some old gems to form an inspirational first album, which will be recorded later this year.
