Shanae St.Louis

Born the granddaughter of Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Award winning artist Solomon Burke, Shanae has been surrounded by music her whole life. Never believing that the gift she had would be used for anything other than singing backup or just singing in the privacy of her own home, God showed her something new. That new thing came in the way of her accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 26. It was during this time that God began to reveal to her just a portion of the plan he had for her. Under the loving and ever encouraging leadership of her pastors Shanae began to step out in the gift God had placed in her. Singing before popular gospel artists such as Coko and Kim Burrell. Her desire to please God is made evident in her lyrics as she encourages others to hold on and to find a to praise God even when it seems hard to do. She knows firsthand what it is like to have no one to turn to but God. However, there are no complaints here because every struggle, every trial, and every disappointing event in her life was preparing her for such a time as this. The opportunity to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ has been more than worth it. The music that God has placed in her is just beginning to pour out, there is so much more to come. Shanae says that "It would be foolish to put limitations on God, He said He would do exceedingly, abundantly above all I could ask or think and that's what I have come to expect. For Him to do what others think are impossible!" The world will be blessed to hear what God has stirred up in this powerful young woman of God!
