Most well known as the lead singer/songwriter of the sophisticated pop group Bitter:Sweet, (licensed in over 200 film, TV shows and advertisements) Shana Halligan stepped out on her own 2 years ago. While participating in a series of collaborations along the way, the Los Angeles native recently finished her debut solo EP, Paper Butterfly (charted at #3 on itunes). The past two years provided Halligan with the opportunity to stretch her musical muscles through a series of inspired collaborations, including writing and recording with friend Serj Tankian ( System Of A Down) and dance guru, grammy nominated Morgan Page. Shana also embarked on a collaboration and tour with Thievery Corporation and Marc Collins of Nouvelle Vague, and further collaborations and live guest performances with Charles Webster ( who's collaboration just got them to # 1 on the UK dance charts) , Wax Tailor, Carmen Rizzo, and Alex Cowan (Alice Russell and Let The Machines Do The Work). Shana will be performing at The Greek Theatre with her own band alongside Morcheeba and Thievery Corporation September 20th 2013 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, as well as sitting in with Thievery Corporation as a guest vocalist.
