"What a great performance"

Dear member's of Shananigans, What a great performance, Thank you once again for your continued support of our organization. You helped to create a successful event for our 12th Annual Chicken Wing Competition. We were able to raise $9,000.00 to support individuals living with epilepsy & their support networks. - Valerie Huszarik - On behalf of Epilepsy Waterloo-Wellington

"A real crowd pleasing band!"

I had seen the Shannanigans perform earlier in the year and knew I needed to hire them for my line up of entertainers. They did not disappoint! With their fun, celtic sound, loads of energy and their ability to get the crowd on their feet, the festival plans to have them back again to gear up the crowds and get them into the celtic spirit! I would highly recommend this group. They were very accommodating with their list of songs and set up as the age difference varied from venue to venue and they easily pleased not only the chairs of the venues but those who stopped to watch and enjoy this group. Many patrons even made a point to get seats early as to not miss their set. A real crowd pleasing band!

"Quartet serves classy Celtic entertainment"

I was greatly impressed by the sounds put out by a talented group who call themselves Shananigans. Tawnya's beautiful expressive voice and amazing technical skills on the flute came through on the many tunes she played in unison with Chris on the button accordion. Watching Chris fill the room with the unique sound of the Irish Squeezebox brought back memories of my childhood and being amazed by my father's ability on the button accordion. Dan's excellent bass and vocal offerings to this group are vital and reveal a wealth of musical experiences. He is also a skilled guitarist and keyboardist. The group has played many venues including The Stampede Corral in Kitchener, and The Fergus Scottish Festival & Highland Games opening for the Mudmen, the Rogues, and more. The band still performs at various venues and pubs in the Kitchener-Waterloo area and beyond. We dearly hope that Shananigans will return to Brantford in the near future. - Brantford Expositor
