Feeling a bit camera shy


Shane Kenny and Brownstone Station are a Rock band from Wexford, Ireland who have just released their 2nd album which is the follow up to the 2009 release 'Lost in the madness of crowds'
The album titled ''8 Miles out'' is a 12 track cd and was released on the 3rd May 2014. The album follows on from the release of 3 singles . The first single ''Rolls off your tongue'' was released in April 2013 and the 2nd 'Threw it all away' was released in August 2013. and between them have been picked up by more than 5000 radio stations worldwide. The 3rd Single 'Desert Road' was released in January 2014 and has been building on the success of the first 2 singles. The singles were released through Florida based record label Musik and Film of which their associates have worked with such great artists as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Red Jump Suit Apparatus, Survivor, Loverboy, Eddie and the Cruisers, Tommy Tutone, Missing Persons, Daryl Worley, Molly Hatchet, Ozzie Osbourne, Duran Duran and many others.

It may be hard to pinpoint an artist that his music sits comfortably with regards to the style but Shane has been influenced by artists including Tom Petty, Warren Zevon and Bruce Springsteen and some songs have had comparisons with Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi and also Kiss to name but a few.

Since releasing his debut album, Shane has appeared as a support act to such artists as diverse as Mick Flannery, Mundy, Duke special, Jerry Fish, The Hot Sprockets, The 4 of Us, The Original Rudeboys, The Barley Mob, The Cabin Collective, Lazek, Tumbling Bones Southern Tenant Folk Union, The Niall Toner Band, Declan O'Rourke, John Spillane,Cathy Davey, The Irish Tenors among others.
