After a long hiatus, Shane Kelly is now back performing live again. “There was just something missing in my life. I felt very restless. Music just kept calling me."

Shane walked away from music almost 5 years ago. In December 2004 his mother passed away. “I was lost belief and focus. My heart died that day. Shane’s father passed away when he was four years old. His mother was his best friend.

After stints in various bands in 2000 Shane played his first solo show under the name conceiting the victory. Over the next 3 years Shane played with many different acts such as Further Seems Forever, Seville and The Lyndsay Diaries. While still in college Shane landed an endorsement deal with Good Charlotte’s Level 27 clothing. In 2003, Shane moved left college to pursue music full time. After moving to Greensboro, NC Shane began touring more frequently landing shows with acts such as Copeland, Mae, Elliot and Denali. Fall of 2003 record labels started approaching Shane. In December 2003 Shane traveled to Chicago to record “Embrace to be featured on an AMP Magazine comp. Shortly after that recording Shane signed with a record label out of California.

In 2004, Shane was asked to be a part of the nationwide “Blossoming Media Tour which was headlined by Steel Train. The “BMT was sponsored by Myspace and the Youth Aids organization. While on this tour Shane discovered that his mother was diagnosed with Cancer.

After the passing of his mother, Shane decided to take a job with the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC where he grew up and mother used to work. After a few months in the box office Shane was promoted to Booking Manager and then eventually was recruited by a very prominent live entertainment company and moved to Atlanta in 2007. After living in Atlanta for a year an opportunity came up for Shane to move to Raleigh, NC and in March 2009 decided to pick up the guitar once again.

April 11th, 2009 at Jester’s Pub in Fayetteville, NC would mark Shane’s return to stage. He opened for Platinum selling artist Marcy Playground. Shane plans on continuing to play throughout the East Coast and record an EP and releasing digitally by the end of the year.
