Shane Wall is the pastor of Orangeburg’s Feast of the Lord church and a longtime leader in the city’s faith community. Wall is now unveiling his debut solo CD in a special CD release concert. Entitled “Conversations with God.”

Wall and his band will perform songs from the project at The Williams Grand lodge on Sunday, December 7, 2008 @7:00 p.m. The venue is located at 921 Russell Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115 (next to Simmons Funeral Home). Admission is free. The new Cd will be on sale for $10 a copy and a portion of the proceeds will assist in funding The Samaritan House of Orangeburg, a shelter for the homeless. For more information, visit www.shanewall.com, www.myspace.com/shanewallmusic or contact him directly at 803-516-8289.

Wall has been singing and writing Christian music for almost 20 years but says, “I never intended to pursue the professional role as a solo artist until I felt the Lord calling me to do so.” A former DJ, Wall grew up in church and helped push Bishop Ronald E. Brown’s CDs - Live! Having Good Old Fashioned Church and Not Just Another Song.

Influenced by gospel groups like Commissioned and The Winans, Wall's songs are written in a conversational format as one who speaks to God and one who hears God's response. Hence, the project’s title: Conversations with God. The song “The Next President” is already getting airplay on local stations such as WFMV 95.3 FM in Columbia, SC. Wall is the author of the book, "What Are You Doing After the Dance?" He’s been the senior pastor of The Feast of the Lord church in Orangeburg, SC for nearly five years and is featured weekly on his church’s television program, What is God Saying About You? on Time-Warner Cable.

Bio

Shane Wall was born and raised in Orangeburg, SC and has been singing and writing Christian and Gospel music as an expression to God for about 20 years. He never intended to pursue the professional role as a solo artist until he felt the Lord leading him to do so.

Shane grew up singing in a church who produced two, internationally distributed projects (Bishop Ronald E. Brown-"Live! Having Good Old Fashioned Church" & The Faith Tabernacle Mass Choir.") He plays the violin and drum set. He has written, recorded and sold advertising jingles to local and international companies.

His vocal and writing style has been greatly influenced by the Gospel groups, Commissioned and The Winans. Shane's style of presentation in concerts penetrates even the hardest of hearts. This could very well be contributed to his nearly 25 years of preaching the Word of God internationally with thousands of souls coming to Christ.

He is also known internationally as the author of the book, "What Are You Doing After the Dance?" As the founder and senior pastor of The Feast of the Lord in Orangeburg, SC for nearly five years, he has developed a greater compassion for people and their relationship with the Lord. He is also featured weekly on his church’s television program, “What is God Saying About You?” on Time-Warner Cable for over four (4) years. He has been appointed the position of Vice-President of the Orangeburg-Calhoun Association of Clergy (President as of January 1, 2009). He is on the Planning Committee of the Religious Life Department for Claflin University and South Carolina State University and is the Youth President of the International Fellowship Council of Churches, affecting more than thirty (30) cities world-wide.

About 90% of the songs Shane Wall writes are in conversational format as one who speaks to God and one who hears God's response. Hense, his December, 2008 release of Conversations with God. Because of this project’s thematic nature, with its smooth, yet soulful sound, Christian and Gospel audiences alike will gravitate to this ministry of prayer through music. As a trailblazer with this project, he has created an interactive component on the CD which is a prayer for the general public, recorded in his home, during one of his private prayer times.

Shane Wall will continue to be a household name that many will use as a synonym to a strong relationship with God.
