ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM
In this season of Contemporary Christian music, I sense a yearning for something fresh, something sonically riskier than what weve been putting out for Him. My prayer for this album is that offerings like the latin-based In Endless Praise, country-reggae hybrid Testimony of a Holy Heart and spaghetti western There is Peace will deliver the beauty of the gospel in a unique way, penetrating the heart of those open to hear it.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Recognized two-years running in the West Coast Songwriter's International Song Contest, Shannon has been faithfully serving as a worship leader at Cornerstone church in San Francisco for 12 years while also gracing the stage of some of the country's best music venues: CBGB in New York, Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, Triple Door in Seattle, and many, many more.
She is a prolific songwriter (over 200+ songs in her original collection) and is influenced strongly by Patty Griffin, Mindy Smith, Lucinda Williams, Sarah Kelly, Jennifer Knapp, Tracy Chapman, Carole King and Tom Petty.
Currently scheduling music opportunities to support her new album, In Endless Praise (March 2011), Shannon seeks management and booking representation to expand the reach of the new release. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve both in and out of the church, and is blessed by a loyal following, drawing 75-100+ fans per event in the Bay Area.
