Bio
Taking his listeners on an emotional journey is Shannon Grady's goal and they are happy to go with him. A storyteller in the vein of Damien Rice and Iron and Wine, Shannon has been weaving his tapestries of aural visions across two independently produced albums. After a decade honing his craft first in touring bands and then as a solo artist on the Minneapolis club scene, he released "10 Years", his first album, in 2006. This well-received collection of tales led to invitations to appear on podcasts, indie radio and at the Bearapalooza festivals in Nashville and Florida where he was an instant fan favorite.
His adventures and the people he met along the way fueled the new songs and stories that resulted in 2007's "It Was A Dance". The excitement was so great that he gathered four fellow artists and formed the highly successful "Bears On The Run" tour which earned rave reviews in their 12-city trek across the south and midwest in the fall of 2007. They did it again as the second leg of the tour took them to the northeast in the spring of 2008. Shannon is poised to share his stories with fans old and new. Release yourself, join him on his journey and be ready for the ride of your life.
