“Shannon Lee is a very talented lady. . . she has what I like to call “The New York” sound.” - Mark Collier

"Radio Six International - Scotland"

“Kiss ‘n Tell” is a great album! We love it! - Tony Currie

"The Doctor is In!"

". . . A fusion of rock, country and jazzy blues, Kiss n' Tell features entirely original songs, all penned by Lee.
Backed up by, among others, her fiance, Colin Rankin of the folk group, The Russian Judge, Lee sings about finding and losing love, resisting and giving in to temptation in a voice like raw silk - warm and smooth, throaty without becoming raspy.
In fact, listeners could be forgiven for at times mistaking Lee for The Pretenders' Chrissy Hines - particularly on the CD's title track."

"Reviewer Cam Bastedo"

“Kiss ‘n Tell” is a bouncy, radio ready number that – despite it’s rock genre billing – would be almost equally at home on either country or AM mainstream radio stations. The melody of this song is easily remembered and quite catchy.

. . .There are no rough edges here: the production is smooth, the playing is tight, the mix is well balanced and the voice – of one Shannon Lee - is silky, suggestive and sultry.

For some reason, she reminds me of the country artist Loretta Lynn, maybe in part due to her physical appearance, and – yes – perhaps a little bit of Amanda Marshall, whom Lee lists as a major influence. This much is certain: her voice is strong and expressive – easily equal to the task set by her composition.

. . .If the right ears bend in this song’s direction, this piece might well get airplay.

In summary, this song is well conceived and well executed. It very adequately demonstrates the above average musicianship of the band's talented members.

Shannon Lee is a Winnipeg-bred, Langley, BC based singer/songwriter, who makes her recording debut with this 13 song album or original songs. Shannon Lee is a versatile lady – a medical doctor by day, a published story writer, she plays piano, guitar, writes her own songs and has a pretty impressive voice. Her musical talents are showcased to their fullest on Kiss ‘n Tell.

Bye Bye My Love is a country/rock tune that grabs early attention; Movin’ On Out features Shannon Lee’s sultry vocal style at its best; while You’re My Temptation is a well-written and delivered love song. The album’s title track and songs like Together Blue, You Can’t Hurt Me Now and You Can’t Lose What You Never Had, come off as some of the better items on the project.

Bio

Shannon Lee is a British Columbian singer/songwriter and musician, originally from Winnipeg, Canada. The sexy brunette has a refreshing vocal style and writes songs that are winners. Over the years Shannon has built up an impressive collection of original songs.

“People ask me what style of music I write. It’s hard to categorize. I find that when I have my guitar in hand the music tends to be country, folk or occasionally, rock ‘n roll. But when I’m at the piano, I seem to come up with jazzy tunes and pop ballads. I have a lot of Canadian female vocalist influences. Some of my favourites are Amanda Marshall, Jann Arden, Terri Clark and Diana Krall.”

Shannon can belt out a rocker with the best of them but her sultry voice really shines on her pop & jazz numbers.

Shannon has once again teamed up with producer/guitarist extraordinaire, Andreas Schuld, (Long John Baldry) to work on the follow up album to her 2003 CD, “Kiss ‘n Tell”. "Pot of Gold" is a sassy disc - replete with hook-lines, no-nonsense lyrics, great vocals and spectacular guitar work. Colin Rankin collaborates on these great original songs.

Other musicians on the CD include: Guitarist/songwriter, Colin Rankin (Russian Judge), Mike Sanyshyn, (fiddle), Brian Scott and Brian Newcombe (bass) and drummers David Dutchyn and Phil Robertson.

"Kiss 'n Tell" is in rotation on radio stations in Europe, Australia, Great Britain and South America! Radio Six in Scotland has featured two singles from the album and "Forgotten to Pray" (the one Christian track) is on Comstock Records current international sampler CD!

Shannon Lee - another Canadian talent to be reckoned with!
