Shantaia Poulin

I am a singer songwriter originally from small town Spiritwood, Saskatchewan, but moved two years ago to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I am always keeping busy playing gigs here in the city of bridges, and play festivals and jamborees around Canada. Since I just graduated high school, I wasn't playing many shows, but i am now taking the year off and excited to set my career off in the right direction! 
Some career highlights for myself have been:
- Was invited to NBC's award winning show "THE VOICE" for the 2015 season but could not attend due to being a Canadian Citizen
-Played Craven Country Jamboree main stage two years in a row
- Won a 10,000 dollar grant through Rawlco Radio's 10k20 project to record an 8 song album and was their youngest recipient ever to receive the grant
- Won 1st place and 8,000 dollars in photography and recording at the Big Country Talent Show
- Opened for the Bellamy Brothers at the Pump Road House in Regina
-played numerous jamborees and exhibitions such as Calgary Stampede, Rabbit Lake Jamboree, Camrose Big Valley Jamboree, Saskatoon Exhibition, Prince Albert Grand Stand Exhibition.
I am currently in the works of a few things such as: Creating a band with my guitar player Darrin Kostur, looking for a drummer and a bass player, Releasing a duo single with my good friend and co-writer Joanna Dee to radio and Itunes, music video to follow after the release, and a few shows/gigs coming up as well!
