Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio; The CD is called "Shante: Be Like You...
.."The songs are straight from the heart & soul", says Shante. "I wanted to do something that represented my feelings about God , my Life, reflecting my musical tastes ( Contemporary Christian/ Soul/ Funk/ Acoustic Soul/ Alt.Rock). Life throws curves at you and I wanted to do the same thing with these songs. So, I collaborated with my writing partner Don Manor, Jr (also from Cincinnati) to Produce this E.P. and the results? Seven Inspirational, Eclectic, Intelligent, Funky, Rocked out Tracks....It's Everything I wanted, my story, something a little more one-on-one for the listener."
