BandComedySinger/Songwriter

It depends on the day. My interests in music making have ranged from live improvisational jazz with a standard 4 piece band, to samples of crickets and rain put to a beat, to vocal and pop peices, to West African rhythms mixed with spacey electronics.

Biography

When I was a little kid, my favorite activity was listening to records while carefully examining the album covers. The visual artistry was just as important as the music. My favorites included Herbie Hancock's "Sextant", some Terry Riley, some Wally Badarou, "Cosmos" with Carl Sagan, Art Lande's "Red Lanta", some Prince, Passport's "Sky Blue"...I would make up crazy dances to this music or just stare at the artwork for hours...or go and compose my own music on piano from its inspiration. I grew up playing classical piano, and singing made-up songs at the top of my lungs from the front yards of my friends houses. Or I'd sit on the dinner table entertaining family when I was 5 with impromptu songs like the "Everyday a Lady Gets Pregnant" song. I myself just had my first baby, which has been an incredible inspiration.

Discography

Out of the 6 albums I've created ("High Tide", "Play For the Stars", '"Ethereal Twin", "Tradewinds: Passage", "Les Myrtilles" and "The Island of Misfit Songs") none have been released...yet.
