Los Angeles based duo Share Lions just started calling themselves a band, but the ongoing collaboration between Alex Walker (guitar,vocals) and Elias Diaz V. (drums, vocals) trails back to 2006, when the two artists ran in the same circle in Brooklyn.
Interestingly, music brought each west to Los Angeles at separate times: Walker
joining with the LA band Family Of The Year in 2011, and Diaz bringing his
band Galaxy Of Tar to LA, and proceeding to build a studio to house his
recording projects.
In early 2014, both Walker and Diaz found themselves seeking out a new creative outlet. Looking to do something new with a fresh perspective in mind, the two have joined forces in crafting a new approach and sound to their music.
Presently the band has released their debut EP with a full album due Fall 2016.
