Quick on the heels of an inspirational CD, "How Spirit Sings", Phoenix and Sharon are currently (Spring '11) in pre-production for their second CD project, a collection of songs written over the past two years during Phoenix's recovery from a bike vs. car accident and subsequent brain injury. March is Brain Injury Awareness Month! :-)

1. Stormy Heaven - Electro-acoustic, Spirit-Folk EP of 5 Bousquet originals with tight ensemble including electric violin, electric gtrs, percussion, piano, bass, drums.
2. Mirror, Mirror - Contemporary Folk. Introspective Singer songwriter recording with Bousquet's altered tunings in a bare bones effort that allows these love songs to shine. Upright bass accompaniment by Chris MacLean, flutes and pennywhistle by Tim Britton.
3. Live in Texas - Sharon Bousquet and Fred "Guitar" Smith caught live at the Cypress Creek Cafe Music Club in Wimberley, Texas. Texas folk, Americana, singer-songwriter stuff with dueling acoustic guitars, live in Texas!
4. Temple - Bousquet's latest solo effort, recorded in Austin at MoonHouse with Chris Gage at the helm. Full band and duo pieces ranging from a Nick Drake cover (Northern Sky) to Americana to World/Folk percussion and voice. Temple received extensive airplay on Folk and acoustic radio programs across western Europe.
Compilations
1. A Christmas Wish - The gorgeous "Vancouver Winter", penned by Bousquet and recorded with vocal super group Travellers in Paradise at Vancouver's esteemed 8th Avenue Sound. With a CD cover by Keith Haring and donated tracks from Vancouver's top artists, CD sales raised $10,000 for the HIV ward of the Vancouver Children's Hospital.
2. Peace from the Porch, Vol. 2 - A collection of Texas-based-and affiliated-songwriters, raising awareness and funds for women's shelters around the country.

Bio
Sharon Bousquet is a singer-songwriter/musician by night, a published poet and avid amateur photographer by day. Various songwriting awards, 7 albums of original music, and numerous songs licensed for independent films fill out Bousquet's brief bio. A Hollywood independent feature film "Cosmic Radio" - due for release later this year - started her film music career. Sharon has current scoring and song placements in "Vertical" (Best International Film, 2015 London Independent Film Festival), and "Finding Beauty" (2015 promotional short). Ricochet is the new album of Bousquet originals, "emotionally hard-hitting, beautiful songs" that are some of Bousquet's strongest to date. Sharon Bousquet now lives in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
