Bio
Sharon has travelled and lived in many places and tried her hand at many different styles of music. This sets her music apart because she uses all of these in her songs. She started singing in her first band at just 12 years old, covering anything from Level 42 to the Police.After High School she briefly studied Classical Voice at a renowned Conservatory only to move on to be Lead vocal in a Rock band and end up touringthe World in various Musicals. She loves and excels at Blues and has done and a lot of session work for Blues Labels. This lady can sing anything.
She holds a degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music.
Sharon is a recent triple finalist in the Unisong songwriting competition, and a dual finalist in the U.K. songwriting competition.
Her debut album is mellow and exciting and lets us listen to Blues,Pop and Jazz in a commercially accesible style. It is however Sharon's rich and powerfull voice that people instantly comment on. That will at once remind you of Anastacia , Shirley Bassey and many others.
Hearing this debut album you will realize why her fan base and radio play around the world is growing.
She is a recent winner of Popsong of the Month on Broadjam and her winning song will be mixed in the Acid planet remix context in collaboration with Sony.
Sharon was also recently chosen by Singer universe.com as one of the finalists of the month, with her song Faces of Yesterday.
