Bio
Sharon Friel is a young rocker from Brisbane. In 2010 she recorded her debut EP under the watchful eye of producer Caleb James (Yves Klein Blue, Rhubarb) and rocked out with her band at iconic venues in Brisbane. Sharon has had the privilege of playing at venues such as The Hifi, The Zoo, Rics and X & Y with a host of Brisbane's up and comers. She was also a finalist in the Ric's Exposed comp in late 2010.
A keen interest and a good work ethic ensured that Sharon's transition from unknown to scene regular happened seamlessly. Sharon boasts a sophisticated debut EP and enviable live show. She and her younger brother Daniel collaborate on all songs establishing a sound that represents her fearless approach to song writing.
Sharon is supported by her band 'The Blue Steel' who inject energy and attitude into her live performance. This dynamic five piece deliver all that is on the EP and more.
