Bio
Sharon Glassman is an award-winning writer, radio essayist and nationally-presented stage performer. Her musical projects combine her love of the classics with a crowd-pleasing sense of humor.
Sharon's musical path started in New York City, where she played classical violin, reported on the arts, and created an award-winning series of radio essays for WFUV.
The she heard Vassar Clements's fiddle-playing. Life was short. America was large – and Americana rocked.
She packed up her fiddle, her dog and her desk and moved cross-country to Colorado where she began to sing and write original songs for her bands and her solo performances.
Sharon's winsome, upbeat original songs portray farmers in love, homegrown food, starshine and more, tapping her literary and stage skills and her warm-hearted sense of humor.
Sharon also writes custom songs for folks who’d like to give a special gift, commemorate a special occasion or support a worthwhile cause.
