Lyrics

Show Me How

Written By: Sharon Robinson

Verse 1: Maybe it's true. I'd never lie to you. When you said it's over, it wasn't over. You saw right through my heart.

Verse 2: Maybe it's real. I never seem to feel. The way you hold me, the way you told me. I feel so all alone.

Chorus: Show me now, show me how. You told me you'd love me, you'd never leave me. You tore my world apart.
Show me now, show me how. To get through this pain, I try to refrain. You tore my world apart.

Verse 3: Maybe it's time. I know you're mine. You tell me that maybe I might be crazy. Together, we feel so right.

Verse 4: Maybe it's cool, I'm still in love with you. Never again could I see me without you. Our world's can now collide.

We Could've Made It Last

Written By: Sharon Robinson

Verse 1: I was driving down the road just the other day when I saw a familiar memory of a place we used to

go to be all alone. And now it's all in shambels just like me.

Verse 2: Thinking of our walks out on the sand. We were young and in love, holding hand in hand. Dreaming

of our future and the plans we had made. Remembering the things we said just all seem to fade.

Chorus: Memories of you come flooding back now and then. I don't seem to understand. Can you tell me once

again? Why you broke my heart for someone from your past? I just wanted you to know, we could've made

it last.

Small instrumental

Verse 3: I'm traveling down another familiar road. But, this time I'm going it alone. I see so many adventures

I would like to try, so I take my creator's hand and I begin to fly.

Repeat chorus

Instrumental

Verse 4: Yesterday has already come and gone. But, still here I am all alone. I pick up all the pieces of my

life and start anew, but the only thing that concerns me now, is starting without you.

Forever Gone

Written By: Sharon Robinson

Verse 1: I close my eyes and think of you when I'm alone in my room. I, I, I...

I see your face and the place. My heart and hand should be with you.

Chorus: These pictures here can not replace what we had is forever gone.

Now I know forever gone.

Verse 2: Saw you again and it hurt. Now I see what it's worth for me to move

on with my life. I, I, I... Plans are laid. I have changed. I must say,

you look great. But, I know it's only skin deep.

Pretend To Make-Believe

Written By: Sharon Robinson

Verse 1: You said you were sorry as you walked out the door. I can't believe this happened like every time before.

I don't know what I'm doing to make them wanna leave. Guess I'll start things over, pretend to make-believe.

Verse 2: Starting's not easy when you're going through the pain. I wading past the memories as I'm running from the

rain. Time is passing slowly, wounds collecting dust. I'm working on survival when I tend to make-believe.

Chorus: Pretend to make-believe is something I do well. He never walks away. He never says farewell. He's the

perfect man in my perfect world. Noone can compare when I tend to make-believe.

Bridge: Now, as I look back, I can see where our love went so wrong. But, knowing the truth, don't matter no

more 'cause you're gone.

I Believe

Written By: Sharon Hope Robinson

I wish I could've known you in your adolescent days. I wish I could've been the first to kiss you in that way. I never could imagine what you'd mean to me. I took my place by your side. You became my fantasy.
Never could I hoped for something more. I've waited for so long to feel this strong.
You walked into my life and made me whole. You're the inspiration to my soul. You're the reason I believe in me. You're the reason I believe in love.
There's no mystery. You're everything to me.
You walked into my life and made me whole. You're the inspiration to my soul. You're the reason I believe in me. You're the reason I believe in love. You're the reason I believe in love.

Fly With Me

Written By: Sharon Hope Robinson

I realize I'm new here and you don't know my name. I'm gonna prove that I've got what it takes. When the chips are down and you're looking for higher ground, I'll be there in your darkest hour. Believe in me and I'll believe in you. There will come a day when I will say to you. Spread your wings and fly with me. Take your dreams to higher heights. Be stronger than you've ever been before. Don't give up. Don't be afraid. You'll never walk alone. So fly, fly, fly. Fly, fly, fly.
Our journey has been long, but our tears made us strong. It was a gamble, a chance to sacrifice. The flame burns much higher and it's my heart's desire to make a difference in this unforsaken world.
I'm feeling emotions that I've never felt before. You gave me a chance. You unlocked the door. The first step I took was harder than it seemed. I was wishing on a star now I'm living my dream.

Should've Been Me

Written By: Sharon Hope Robinson

V1. How am I supposed to live without
you? How am I supposed to carry
on? Something deep inside my
heart is missing. How did every-
thing turn out so wrong?

Pre-chorus: Now I, I'm faced with all
the memories of loving
you and what it could
have been.
Chorus: Should've been me when you
wake up every morning.
Should've been me that you
kiss on your way to work. I
hope you're happy with my
substitute. There's nothing
that I wouldn't have done
for you. And it should've
been me.

V2. Should've been me with that
ring upon my finger. Should've
been my as you put the kids to
bed. Should've been me at your
family reunion. Should've been
me. How could I misread?

Pre-chorus: And I, I will always
wonder why loving you
was never enough.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge: Do you ever think about
me and regret the decisions
you made? I can see that
you're happy so, I'll say
that I'm not sad it's this
way.
(Instrumental)

Repeat Chorus

Outro: And it should've been me
