Lyrics

Ain't Nobody Good Enough

Written By: Sharon Von Fange

She’s got holy attributes
And a sense of humor to boot
She’s Daddy’s little girl
And her mama’s a true pearl

She’s a beauty to behold
With a heart of pure gold
Owns two houses on the beach
And helps people on the street

But when others ask her why
Some handsome guy ain’t grabbed her hand
She tells ‘em,
“Ain’t nobody good enough but God to be my man.

Ain’t nobody good enough but God to be my man
He meets my every need as long as I hold on to His hand
He’s the Father of the fatherless and the Great I Am.
Ain’t nobody good enough but God to be my man.”

Musical break (w/ rippin’ blues harmonica, of course!)

So, ladies do I have your attention?
Have you joined this conversation?
Has God called you down a different road
Than the one your mama done go’ed?

You’ve been open to His plans
You’ve said, “Lord, here I am.”
You love His word, you stop to pray
You’ve brought others into His family

So when some well-meaning someone asks why
You ain’t found no earthly man
Just tell ’em,
“Ain’t nobody good enough but God to be my man!

Ain’t nobody good enough but God to be my man
He meets my every need as long as I hold on to His hand
He’s the Father of the fatherless and the Great I Am.
Ain’t nobody good enough but God to be my Man.”

I Want to Go to Williamsburg With You

Written By: Sharon Von Fange

I want to go to Williamsburg with you
And do the things we both like to do
Take a leisurely path
Put away all the math
Oh, I want to go to Williamsburg with you.

I want to go to Williamsburg with you
I know you’re double and triple-booked, too.
It’s an impossibility
Yes, it’s absolutely silly
But there’s really nothing else I’d rather do.
Oh, I want to go to Williamsburg with you.

It used to be so much easier
When we were young, and we were free
Just get mom to write a note to excuse you
All we missed was a lame old movie, ooh.

I want to go to Williamsburg with you
Now, only you and I can do what we do
It’s what God designed
Something He had in mind
When He said one would be made of two.
Oh, I love to go to Williamsburg with you,
Instrumental (Part B)
I love to go to Williamsburg with you.
I only go to Williamsburg with you.

I Saw the Lord

Written By: Sharon Von Fange (based on Isaiah 6)

I saw the Lord and He was high and lifted up;
I saw the Lord and He was high and lifted up.

The hem of His garment filled the temple,
And I cried, “Woe is me!
For I am one so very simple,
And my lips are unclean.”

I saw the Lord and He was high and lifted up;
I saw the Lord and He was high and lifted up.

Then one who sang, “Holy. Holy,”
Was sent to touch my place of sin.
Through his touch, guilt was taken from me -
God’s atonement.

I heard the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send?”
I heard the Lord saying, “Who will go for us?”

And then, I said,
“Here am I. Here am I.
One, so very simple.
Send me. Send me.

Angel Girl

Written By: Sharon Von Fange

A baby girl, an angel child
Born to stay with us but a while
Your only wish one Christmas eve
Was healing for your best friend to receive
Gave your heart away at the age of five
To make Jesus Lord of your life

Chorus:
Angel girl, child of light
Dancing with the angels in your robe of white
In the presence of Jesus, Your beloved
You’re the one we’re still thinking of
Baby, you’re the one we miss, Angel Girl.

You cheated death a time or two
And we thanked God for healing hands on you
There were those who could not call your name
You cared in spite of who they called to in vain.
You traveled far to spread God’s fame
Feeling blessed, because He knew your name

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
It’s lonely here on this earth without you
In quiet times, the darkness moves in
It tears our breaking hearts asunder,
But we will go on with as much strength as God allows

Repeat Chorus

You overflowed with Jesus love;
Just one song for you is not enough.
And though you lost the battle for this earthly life,
We know you’re with the One who wins the fight.
We know you’re with the One who wins the fight.
