SHA VADO

SHA VADO was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. Sha's main focus is to contribute to and expose Indianapolis's Hip hop culture. Sha says “this is not about money or fame” I just want the world to hear the music I create. As a self-made producer/artist, Sha doesn’t have to worry about dependency on other producers. “I consider myself a grass-roots artist”. “Being independent at a time when the internet seems to be expediting exposure is hard because everything is over saturated”. “And being grass-roots may be the only thing that separates the successful from the unsuccessful”. When Sha Vado was a junior in high school he formed a beat club with four of his peers.

“I knew I had a talent, when I would make a beat, it would truly speak to you”. So, Sha continued to produce his own music and quietly honed his skills as an artist. “Not many people knew that I rapped, and I wasn’t eager to let people know because everybody was a rapper”. After Sha graduated he formed his own beat production company, which transgressed into a label several years later. Now all the years of learning business tactics such as marketing, publishing, management and promoting has made him ready for mass exposure. “The music I make has become my life now, this is a marathon not a sprint”. Sha Vado has really succeeded at developing his own identity. Now he’s ready for the world to know who he is. Let’s hope the world is ready for Sha Vado.
