"Well nobody told me to do this, I just love song, voice and a good old-fashioned harmony and that’s the way God made me. I don’t promote our music or the bad ass band I’ve been blessed with because I think we’re better than any of the other talented, wonderful artists out there. I promote, push and sing my butt off every day because it’s my heart and where I feel I am supposed to be".
"My grandpa really did play guitar like no other and he toured and was very close friends with Western Swing Legend, Bob Wills. I was probably born with it in my blood. Growing up listening to Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs, Hank Williams, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers has a major influence on the sound we've incorporated into our modern commerical-like up-tempo country".
{After years of sending out press kits, simple photos, letters and cards, the right people finally saw Shawna Lynn. That was a very big agency in Nashville, TN. Now, Shawna is writing with some of the biggest writers on Music Row who have hit songs by artists such as Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and many more. Recording with Jason Aldean's band and many other wonderful experiences are making a name for Shawna Lynn in Nashville}.
