Over the last 14 years he has taken the stage with bands including Apt 401, Sweet Tooth, Mojo, Billy & The Bruisers, The Shawn Beresford Trio & most recently, Shawn Beresford & The Soulution. With a voice that has been compared to Dennis Edwards of the Temptations & Ray Charles, Shawn delivers soulful renditions of R&B, Soul & Motown classics, along side his original material.

In June 2006, Shawn saw his first commercial release with Shawn Beresford & MoJo. Since its release, the self titled album has been featured & showcased on various radio & TV programs;

including The House Of Blues Radio Hour, The Blues Own, CBC’s The Beat, Out Of The Fog & Cool Jazz On The Coast.

In January 2010, one of Shawn’s songs ( Jus You & Me ) was a Top 10 Provincial finalist in the “Radio Star National Songwriting Competition”.

April 2011 saw the release of Beresford’s debut solo album – “Call My Name”; consisting of 12 original tracks, delivered by Shawn & The Soulution with some very special guests.

About The Soulution:

Bruce Cooper - Drums: Bruce's style is unique & hard hitting; He is technically brilliant, versatile, and has great groove & feel.

Gary Johnston - Keys: Again, extremely versatile & technically brilliant; the ‘color’ Gary brings to the Soulution has taken the band to another level!!

Ian Taylor - Bass: Back in the saddle for a little over a year now, Ian has evolved from playing classic rock & blues to laying down some serious soul & funk.
